The idea came to Willem after years of inflation had led to a rise in price of drinks, and the feeling he wasn't getting value for money. The purpose of this map is to make it easy for anyone to find deals near them with just a couple of clicks. No fuss, money saved. FindHappyHour has no investors, no big team, just someone who wanted this to exist and built it.
Right now FindHappyHour exists as a website that covers Manchester. Future plans include expansion further across the UK, community driven feedback, reviews and listings, venue verification more widely so bar owners can help keep their own listings accurate, and a handy app for iOS and Android.
